                My village is loceted in a beautiful eniviranment surrounded by nilwan reservoir on the east and kirindi oya on the west .My village is handapanagala wich is made up of the mountain range coming from the north and the golden field from the south.    In my village called Handapanagala,The large rock in the construction of the tank bund gives great strength to the tank bund. 💓💓💓💓💓💓

                          

My village is called Handapanagala ,beacause of the beautiful pond on the rock and the view of the moon carved in the rock.  💝💝💝💝💝💝

                                  

 Thausands of acres of faddy field are cultivated by a larg reservoir of about eight hundred acres .The fishing industry associated with the reservoir is the occupation of many people.💟💟💟💟💟💟               

Moreover ,the fact that all the the professionals have been born in our village has been a great blessing to the village. 💗💗💗💗💗💗About 9km south of  Wellawaya, the main road of the is to the east.

  

                         Our village is vary famous for the herd of elephants that enter the lake from the top of the lake at nightfall.The  herd of elephant also destroys crops at night.The handapanagala reservoir as well as the herd of elephants attract a large number of local and forgien tourists.     The handapanagala maha vidyalaya in our village has gifted a large number of intellectuals to the country.    💝💝💝💝💝💝                                                           

Although there are many people working in trade,farming,fishing,various government jobs,there are also people who work here spreading the word. It is a matter of great pleasure to all of us that the popular ''Meth sewa padanama" of cyril is located in this village. 💕💕💕💕💕💕
